What is HPDE? High Performance Driver Education! The Corvette Club of America is one of the top clubs when it comes to racking up track time. We have many members who frequent the tracks and many of those members are experienced HPDE instructors.

Check out this video Pat Roney arranged to have done for the National Corvette Museum's Motorsports Park. The two circuits at the MSP, East and West, can be combined into multiple configurations ranging from a high speed loop of 1.96 miles to an extended 3.15 mile technical course.

For those of you interested in doing a track day, there are many events put on by many clubs in the area that are well-attended by CCA members and other local experienced HPDE drivers. Below, you can find a list of tracks frequented by CCA members. Prominent area instructors will often be in attendance to help you with your driving line, braking and steering techniques, as well as getting comfortable driving around traffic at the track.

Please remember to stick to the speed limit on the street and if you want to try high performance driving talk to any high performance driver about how easy it is to learn it in a safer place.

Events and registration details can often be found through the website of the hosting club or track. Sign up early since many sell out fast! As many of our club members attend several of these events a year you will likely see a lot of Corvettes lapping the track together, pitting together, and hanging out between and after run groups! There is a wealth of track experience, mechanical abilities and tools for help and guidance, along with lots of comradery. E-mail racingvette-club.org with events you plan on attending and we can let you know who also plans to attend!
