Low Speed Double Autocross
Open to Corvette and non-Corvette participants of all experience levels and ages 18 and over. CCA membership is not required. Only cars are allowed; no trucks, SUVs, karts, motorcycles, etc. For newer autocrossers, ride-along instruction (and course-walk assistance) will also be available upon request. More Info
Morning session only ($25 pre-registered or $30 day of) or morning and afternoon sessions ($45 pre-registered or $50 day of). There is no registration for just the afternoon session.
If you do not have a helmet, you can add all-day helmet rental for $5 when you pre-register online or rent one onsite for $5 cash.
This year we have simplified car classification and have a new online registration system. Info on the new classification (to assist with registration) is here. The event flyer is here and a picture showing the nice, still new asphalt can be found above (to possibly rekindle those who endured past autocrosses with us on the old, worn out surface). Note that the CCA is no longer with the NCCC and our events will not get you NCCC points. We will instead have our own awards for fastest times and overall participation.
There will be a porta-potty on site as well as a trash can. There will be no electricity available for use by participants or spectators. We break for lunch after the morning session and give you ample time to go get food and return for the afternoon session.
Spectators welcome, but must remain off the course at all times and behind the chain link fence. No children under 18 allowed on the course at any time. Anyone wanting to ride along must have a valid driver's license of their own.

Volunteers and Participants Needed!
To make these events successful we need both workers and participants. You will be able to run even if you volunteer to work, so please consider helping out the club to make these events run smoothly. Here is a list of areas where worker assistance is needed:
Saturday, May 20, 2017 - Need a couple volunteers in the AM to help set up, mark and test the course and clean up any debris. Will need volunteers to arrive by 8:00AM. Should be done by noon.
Sunday, May 21, 2017 - Registration/Scoring, Front Gate, Tech Inspection, Course setup assistance, Timing System Operation, Grid/Staging, and help with clean up. Participants should arrive by 8:00AM to get through registration, tech and walk the course. Volunteers should arrive by 7:00AM.
Please contact Stephen Catlin, Director of Competition and let him know if you are able to assist by informing him which days and which positions you are available to help with. Don’t worry if you don't have any experience in these areas, we will teach you all you need to know. Approximately 20 volunteers are needed to make this event a success.
