Business Meeting

Business Meeting

This is the club's monthly business and membership meeting with the Board and is open to all current and prospective club members. We discuss both past and future events as well as general club business. Arrive early at 6:30 PM if you wish to have dinner and chat before the meeting.

The Secretary takes the minutes at every business meeting and a typed version is usually available within a few weeks after the meeting. CCA members can request a copy of the meeting minutes by e-mailing webmastervette-club.org.

Reporter to be Present for C8 Discussion

Mike Colias, a reporter for the Wall Street Journal covering GM and the auto industry, will attend the June 11th business meeting. He selected the CCA to ask us about the significance of the mid-engine Corvette for fans. He also wants our view of what fans think of the change to the C8. The article will be published before the 7/18/2019 reveal so he is not looking for more leaks on specs or spy photos of camouflaged cars. He wants opinions on what this next generation means to Corvette fans. I am sure that we are not the only fans being asked these questions.

We need to meet with him on Tuesday because of his publication schedule. We also have a very busy business agenda this month. He will be talking with two groups of about six members at a time. The discussions will take place in the restaurant adjacent to our meeting room. If you happen to see them out there, please allow them to complete their work. I am sure we will have time to give him a warm welcome before the evening is over.
