The CCA is hosting a Corvette display at the 2023 Washington DC Auto Show, which will be held January 20-29, 2023 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
Tickets are $12 for adults on weekdays, $15 for adults on weekends, and $6 for children 6-12 years old if you purchase tickets in advance.
There are a number of public parking garages around the Convention Center. In general, prices decrease as you get further from the Convention Center, so if you want to minimize costs then look for garages 2-3 blocks away from the Convention Center.
If you want to minimize walking, then the closest parking garage is on L St. This garage costs $25/day on show days. Enter "636 L St NW" in Google Maps for the garage entrance.
When entering the garage, you get a ticket, which you then have to take to a payment machine at the pedestrian entrances, then you scan the paid ticket when you exit with your car.
When walking out of the garage, there are two elevators: one that puts you on NY Ave, and another that puts you on L St.
If you are bringing a guest without an exhibitor badge then take the NY Ave elevator, and this will put you near the main entrance to the Convention Center (turn right when you exit the garage building, then walk a half block to get to the main entrance).
If you have an exhibitor badge, you can take the elevator to L St, cross L St, walk down L St to the middle of the convention center (under the bridge between the two sections of the building), then go in the L St entrance to the Convention Center. From there, you can take the escalator (to the left of the entrance) down to the hallway, then turn right and walk until you see the escalators that go down to the display hall on the right. This will save you a lot of walking vs using the main entrance to the Convention Center.
