Summer of 2017 is in full "Pedal To The Metal Mode"

The 2017 Annual Spring Car Show is now in the past and it was certainly a great success! This was CCA's first car show without NCCC being in the mix and I feel it went very smoothly. We had a total of 76 beautiful cars not including the UMD SAE Formula car which drew a lot of attention. I want to thank everyone that helped especially Nita A.! Without Nita the show just wouldn't go on. Our gracious sponsor, Sport Chevrolet, was right there again to help both financially and with taking care of all our needs the weekend of the show. Remember to give Sport as much business as you can. They are very good to CCA!

Our next big event will be our annual Founders’ Day Picnic on Sunday July 16 th . This year will be very special with our new location Hidden Hills Farm & Vineyard in Frederick, MD. It is a very scenic location with rolling hills and beautiful young vineyards. The tasting room and outside seating areas will make for a great time. Look for more information in this issue of the Corvette Courier.

A group of 12 CCA members are forming a caravan next week starting in Frederick, MD and ending up at the NCM for the Le Mans 24 Hour Viewing Party. Jon T. is the tour director for this outing. If you have never been on a road trip planned by Jon you are really missing a great time. I am certain there will be a story in the July issue of the Corvette Courier.

I wish everyone a safe and well-traveled summer and I look forward to seeing many of you for our Founders’ Day Picnic.
