If you haven't done so already, please sign into your account on the website and update the questionnaire on your membership application. Instructions are in the Webmaster Report in the March Newsletter and on the website. There are four check boxes in the first section of the membership application which allow you to hide certain personal information in the member directory. Selecting "Hide in Search" hides all of your personal information including your name and I recommend you leave this box un-checked. You may opt to check any of the other boxes to separately hide your home address, e-mail address, and/or phone number. The member directory is only visible to fellow CCA members who are signed into the website and no one from the general public can see this information. Therefore, in an effort to keep the directory private, you are required to set a secure password when you first sign into your account. This is to protect both your personal information and that of other club members.
When registering for an event or paying membership fees, you have the option to pay online by selecting the "PayPal or Credit Card" payment option. When you select this option you are automatically redirected to PayPal's website since we use PayPal to process both forms of payment. If the e-mail address you provided on the CCA website form has a PayPal account associated with it, then you'll see the PayPal log-in page, but you still have the option to skip log-in and pay with a credit card instead. If the e-mail address you provided is not associated with a PayPal account, then you'll see a page asking for your credit card information, but you still have the option to sign into PayPal with another e-mail address or to create a PayPal account. You do not need to create or sign into a PayPal account if you simply want to pay by credit card.
April's Member Spotlight features Bill S. who recounts his experiences traveling across the northwestern states during the Rally North America Big Sky Rally in July, 2016.
If you want to be featured in the Member Spotlight, send me an e-mail with your story and 1-5 pictures before the first of the month. Your story can be anything about you and your Corvette: your membership with the CCA, when you first met your Corvette, events you participated in with your Corvette, how you came to love Corvettes, or projects you're working on.
Since the new website went live on February 23rd, we’ve had ten new members join by completing the online membership application!
Reminders
- The new website can be accessed using any of these three URLs:
- www.corvetteclubofameica.org (not .com!)

- Send me your technical/DIY/how-to articles as well as any recommendations and resources for Corvette-related parts and services to put in our member’s only section of the website.
- If you'd like to contribute written descriptions, recaps, or photos for upcoming or recent events, please e-mail me.
