Our first autocross event of the season is just around the corner. For those of you like me whose car has been hibernating all winter it is time to sign up and come out to our test and tune on April 23rd at Lincoln College.

Asphalt smooth enough to bring out the show car and compete! Too bad this year Denise P. swapped her FTD-winning orange C7Z beauty in favor of a C5Z that isn't orange! Autocross

Flyers for our first Test & Tune event on April 23rd and our first official autocross event on May 21st are in the newsletter, and online registration is open on our new website. Flyers and registration can also be found by clicking the event links above - check out the details and sign up! Note that we have streamlined car classification this year to the following. Please register under the appropriate classification.

  • C3 Any C1-C3 Corvette
  • C4 Any C4 Corvette
  • C6 Any base C5-C6 Corvette
  • C7 Any base C7 Corvette
  • CZ Any C5-C7 Grand Sport, Z06 or ZR1 Corvette
  • OF Open Class non-Corvette Front Wheel Drive Cars
  • OR Open Class non-Corvette Rear Wheel Drive Cars
  • OA Open Class non-Corvette AWD Cars

Finally, to better ensure that these events have less snafus than last year several of our Board members again went out to Lincoln College on April 9th to set up our next course and test out the timing equipment with both new directional antennas attached. The testing was a success! We hope to see a large contingent of our CCA members come out and attend our events this year!

Until next month...
